The original church, which was built in the late 1880s, was destroyed in February 2008 when a large oak tree fell through the sanctuary damaging it beyond repair. The new church is about 3,500 sq. ft. and consists of (four) classrooms, restrooms, pastor’s office, sanctuary, foyer, baptistery and changing room. We were able to salvage some of the wood from the original church and use it for the window sills and trim in the sanctuary, and to construct a large cross that hangs in the foyer.
