This project was a challenging remodel. Fire damaged an old Sonny’s BBQ restaurant. It was gutted, partially demolished, expanded, and converted into a new credit union facility. Because of the nature of the project, there were a lot of unknowns. Open and efficient communication between owner, architect, and contractor kept any surprises to a minimum. Even though hidden fire and water damage were discovered and remediated during construction, the project completed ahead of schedule and under budget. Total space is 5,088 sq. ft.
