This project involved the Renovation of an existing 50,000-square-foot dealership. Creative Structures transformed it into a premier new prototype for Rusty Wallace Nissan. The renovations included opening up the front with a new curtain wall, and implementing all-new designs in the showroom, service reception, and upstairs support staff offices, conference room, and owner's office.
The renovation was not without challenges, such as updating all stormwater systems to current city and state regulations and installing a new elevator and mezzanine walkway. Despite these hurdles, everyone was ecstatic about the outcome, which resulted in one of the premier dealerships in East Tennessee.
Creative Structures, Inc. renovated 2,500 square feet of the iconic East Knoxville Buddy's Bar-B-Q after a fire damaged the original structure. The project included rebuilding the roof trusses and installing a completely new kitchen, smoke room, and dining room. Architectural features were also added to align with their modern prototypes.
Expansion of existing sanctuary, new restrooms, classrooms and nursery. We worked with the church staff, fire marshal, and congregation to keep the sanctuary functional through the life of the project. The 16,728 two-story addition will house their advanced Bible and Preaching school.
5,500 SF, 2-tenant strip center containing a Salsaritas and Family Dental Care of Powell. This site features underground stormwater detention with pervious pavers, and a patio for Salsaritas.
This 3-floor office building was totally gutted and remolded by Creative Structures. The amazing renovation allowed multiple city-wide offices to merge and create the new corporate headquarters. Besides completely restructuring the space and adding all new interior finishes, Creative Structures added a full cafeteria and a large workout facility. Exterior additions were a loading dock/stair well, paved walking track, and a large outdoor covered pavilion.

50,400 square foot office warehouse. Construction consisted of tilt up concrete walls and pre-engineered metal building. Exterior concrete paving and asphalt.
Exterior renovation of a 5-story apartment complex in the Fort Sanders Historical Neighborhood. The Barclay House has served University of Tennessee student for many years and will continue after this renovation.
A more modern and elegant advertising firm has been created through two large phases and multiple small phases to this existing 60+ year-old building. These renovations consisted of new finishes inside and new wood and metal veneers outside. New skylights and windows were also added to allow more light to flood throughout the space. These renovations were challenging not just because of the building's age, but because the business had to remain operational throughout all construction. This meant coordinating and scheduling closely with the owner and keeping the construction area neat and clean at all times.
A renovation for Realty Executives new corporate office space. We worked closely with the interior design team and owners to bring this building back to life.
A ground up church for Praise Lutheran. The 7,076 square foot church consisted of wood framing, scissor trusses, masonry, hardi-siding and a metal roof. Interior elements included LVP wood flooring, tile and hand made beams in the sanctuary. We worked with the church through the design process to ensure they were in budget at each phase of design.
Built in the 1920s, this Tudor style private school was in great need of complete interior renovations. Many structural changes were made as well as a completely new kitchen, expanding classrooms, adding additional bathroom facilities, classrooms, and windows. This beautiful renovation completely changed the look and feel of the entire school. A new playground, tree fort, and basketball area have also been added. These updates will be enjoyed for years to come.
Shell space utilizing multiple facaded styles for contrasting storefronts, storm water was contained using permeable pavers throughout the parking lot.
After completing the first store in Knoxville, O'Reilly asked us to consider assisting them in other markets. With a growth and expansion plan of over 300 stores a year, they needed us to be responsive, quality-driven, and fast. We have worked with O'Reilly's corporate development team to build the O’Reilly Auto Parts store in Virginia Beach, VA.
This development was a design/build project that required thorough pre-project planning and budgeting for project feasibility. The office park has three 10,000 sq. ft. buildings with Realty Executives occupying one. Their offices boast polished concrete floors, interior column, crown molding, and state-of-the-art data that realtors need.
This beautiful new Home Federal Bank branch is a design/build project with a finished square footage of 7,500. The exterior boasts three large drive-through service bays, casement windows, dimensional shingles, and an elegant combination of stone, brick, EIFS, and Hardie Plank siding. The entrance is easily accessible and opens to a large and welcoming foyer as natural light pours in from all sides.
A beautiful full brick and masonry office building was completed to house a Coldwell Banker real estate team. Featuring two floors of multi-office and meeting space.
