Our experience in automotive facility construction allows us to deliver functional, professionally constructed spaces designed to meet the needs of automotive dealerships and their customers.
This project involved the Renovation of an existing 50,000-square-foot dealership. Creative Structures transformed it into a premier new prototype for Rusty Wallace Nissan. The renovations included opening up the front with a new curtain wall, and implementing all-new designs in the showroom, service reception, and upstairs support staff offices, conference room, and owner's office.
The renovation was not without challenges, such as updating all stormwater systems to current city and state regulations and installing a new elevator and mezzanine walkway. Despite these hurdles, everyone was ecstatic about the outcome, which resulted in one of the premier dealerships in East Tennessee.
Creative Structures was honored to construct the first Aldi Food Store in the Knoxville area. The 17,745 sq. ft. store located at 2801 Schaad Road was constructed using structural load-bearing metal stud walls, steel columns and beams, and steel roof joists. The facade of the building is crisp and clean, utilizing brick veneer, a clear anodized aluminum storefront system and trims. By completing the project ahead of schedule, Creative Structures enabled the owner to set an earlier opening date. Several locations have now been completed.

Fast Pace Health Urgent Care is a network of over 300 walk-in clinics providing accessible, non-emergency, and preventative care, primarily serving rural communities in the Southeastern US. They offer, seven days a week, services including, treating injuries, illnesses, x-rays, lab tests, and, for many, and telemedicine for both children and adults.
QRS is a medical technology office building. Featuring full brick, this structure encloses approximately 4,500 sq. ft. of beautiful interiors with multi-office and conference room facilities.
This beautiful nonprofit center has a farmhouse feel that is warm and welcoming - just as the owner wanted. It is two levels with 8,539 sq. ft., including 3,230 sq. ft. of floored storage space. A cathedral ceiling in the reception area is open to the two children's play rooms. The main floor has offices, exam and counseling rooms, a kitchen, storage rooms, and a large conference room.
A renovation for Realty Executives new corporate office space. We worked closely with the interior design team and owners to bring this building back to life.
This was the 4th fire station built by Creative Structures, and the island's 1st LEED-certified station. The 12,237 sq. ft. building includes 3 fire truck bays, 8 bunk rooms, a full kitchen with dining room, a day room, an exercise room, and a training facilities room.
Some examples of how we achieved LEED Silver Certification was through using an underground rainwater harvesting system, pervious paving, recycling 75% of construction waste, light-colored building materials to decrease the Heat Island effect, and using materials that contain very low if any VOC's.
Expansion of existing sanctuary, new restrooms, classrooms and nursery. We worked with the church staff, fire marshal, and congregation to keep the sanctuary functional through the life of the project. The 16,728 two-story addition will house their advanced Bible and Preaching school.
This is a beautiful three-story brick office building on Northshore. Challenging site conditions on the banks of Bluegrass Lake had to be overcome to complete. The project was a design/build venture with the owners and George Ewart, architect.
This 3-floor office building was totally gutted and remolded by Creative Structures. The amazing renovation allowed multiple city-wide offices to merge and create the new corporate headquarters. Besides completely restructuring the space and adding all new interior finishes, Creative Structures added a full cafeteria and a large workout facility. Exterior additions were a loading dock/stair well, paved walking track, and a large outdoor covered pavilion.
This was an existing building with dated architectural features, such as small windows and concrete awnings. We completely gutted the inside and created a new updated open floor plan, new bathrooms, and managers offices consisting of glass walls. On the outside we used updated materials such as metals, woods, and EIFS to create a more modern and classic design combination.
